their car, but this requires student to purchase a permit from

information and resources for comumuters. To purchase a

parking permit, go to RUdots to get a permit. Different types

of purchase of the parking permit may vary.

Off-campus student prefer to park their cars on the street.

However, students can end up getting a ticket for it. To

prevent it, use ParkMobile app to get your own parking

spot in Newark. Be sure to use your payment methods

when using the app.

Carpool is another option for off-campus student when it

comes to commute. Students would prefer to have there

family to take them to Rutgers - Newark or use an app such
